Porsche Carrera Cup is Porsche Motorsport North America's premier one-make racing league. As such, there's no shortage of race-week coverage.
Between the series, teams, drivers, and other partners, plenty of folks were already posting cars on track, podiums, and race results. Sending another crew to every round to capture more of the same would have been expensive, redundant, and we didn't wanna clog fans feeds with more noise.
So for Yokohama's 2024 Carrera Cup coverage, we asked a different question: What can we make that adds value and nobody else is doing?
01. THE CHALLENGE

02. THE APPROACH
Instead of simply covering each race, we built Yokohama's season around four pieces of recurring content that went out with every race weekend: The Car, The Tires, The Track, and driving traffic to the livestream via Instagram Stories.
Together, the four elements created a repeatable content system that could follow Carrera Cup through an entire season without trying to duplicate efforts or the coverage already coming from the series, teams, and drivers.
Same four ingredients. New story every weekend.

THE CAR
A season-long series breaking the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup into its individual systems, from aerodynamics and suspension to brakes, cockpit, safety, drivetrain, and more.

THE TIRE
Gaming-inspired features reels highlighting the specific Yokohama race tires being used that weekend, along with track-specific information relevant to how they'd be raced.

THE TRACK
Animated circuit guides for every stop on the calendar, combining track maps with the details, quirks, and numbers that make each course different.

THE LIVESTREAM
Race-day CTAs built to turn all the attention toward the thing that mattered next: watching it happen live.
